By doing these flat plans it helped me get a clearer idea of how my layout would look and if there was anything different I could do. The front page worked well as the main image was placed in the centre and there was room on the outside to put sub headings. The title stood out well at the top as the background was in black and white. The box at the bottom worked aswell as it stood out really clearly which could be an attraction for someone buying it.
The contents layout was quite simple but it fitted in well with the theme of school magazines. The blue white and black fitted in well with the school magazine theme. Every group of 5 items were gradually more and more indented into the page so instead of it just being down in a straight line it was a bit more creative yet still suitable and clear enough for a school magazine.
